Event Venues

We host events year-round including those looking for aroma of fresh flowers, whistling of sounding birds and the whimsical whistle of that neighboring train. The theme of a Victorian - Storybook wedding is always a popular request, along with Bridesmaid’s luncheons, rehearsal dinners and receptions. We also accommodate picnics, Girl or Boy Scout outings, Teas, Scrapbooking parties and Birthday party of all ages! Each of our venues is unique and special to give your event a sophisticated look and feel. Located an hour from Dallas, we are a convenient event location just outside the city.

The Lawn (175 guests) – The lush green lawn is located just off the Inn’s back deck and provides a beautiful backdrop of the scenic wraparound porch with gazebo and pond.

Front Porch (40 Guests) – This large wraparound porch located off the 1st floor of the Inn overlooks the expansive front view of the home with the east and west view

Dining Room (15 Guests) – For an intimate dining experience or causal coffee/tea also used for wedding cake or champagne buffet. French doors, floor-to-ceiling windows and dark, rich wood that help create special intimate moments.

Eisenhower’s Social Room and Katy Parlor (45 Guests) – The social room is located adjacent to the Inn on the first floor and is the perfect site for a wedding shower, a tea, dinners and a casual conversation. This room is also ideal for a Groom Dressing Suite, (2) fire places used for weddings and can be used for conferences rooms or a casual card game.
